Job description

Role Overview

We are seeking a well-connected, relationship-oriented volunteer to help develop partnerships within Kauai's tourism, hospitality, wellness, and local business communities.

This role will help Healing Horses Kauai expand awareness, increase program participation, strengthen community visibility, and develop long-term fundraising and sponsorship opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with hotels, resorts, concierge teams, tourism groups, and local businesses
  • Help introduce Healing Horses Kauai to potential community and corporate partners
  • Support development of tourism-oriented ranch experiences and visitor programs
  • Assist with sponsorship outreach and partnership development
  • Identify opportunities for collaborations, community events, and cross-promotions
  • Represent Healing Horses Kauai within local networking and community spaces when appropriate

Ideal Qualifications

  • Experience in hospitality, tourism, wellness, community engagement, or business development
  • Strong interpersonal and networking skills
  • Familiarity with Kauai community networks preferred
  • Passion for community-centered experiences, nonprofits, animals, or wellness
  • Self-motivated and collaborative

Time Commitment

Flexible; approximately 3–6 hours/week preferred.

Location

Kauai-based strongly preferred, but please do submit an application even if you're off-island but interested.
