Fort Washington Veterinary Hospital of Flourtown
Location: Flourtown, PA 19031
Full-Time | Flexible Schedule | One Evening Shift Weekly | Saturdays (8:00 AM-2:00 PM)

Fort Washington Veterinary Hospital of Flourtown is seeking a skilled Veterinary Technician who is passionate about patient care and enjoys working alongside a supportive, experienced team. Since opening our doors in 1972, we've grown into a modern, full-service companion animal hospital while maintaining the personalized, family-oriented care our clients know and trust.

In This Role, You'll
  • Assist veterinarians with appointments, surgeries, dentistry, and medical procedures
  • Obtain laboratory samples and perform in-house diagnostics
  • Administer medications and treatments under veterinary supervision
  • Monitor anesthesia and hospitalized patients
  • Prepare patients for procedures and ensure their comfort throughout their visit
  • Accurately document treatments and patient information
  • Educate pet owners on medications, home care, and preventive medicine
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient treatment area
  • Support daily hospital operations while working closely with your teammates
What You Bring
  • At least 1 year of experience working in a veterinary hospital
  • Confidence handling and restraining companion animals safely
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Positive attitude and a collaborative approach to patient care
  • Excellent communication and client service skills
Bonus Skills
  • Experience monitoring anesthesia
  • Surgical or dental assisting experience
  • Familiarity with veterinary practice software
  • Interest in continuing education and expanding your technical abilities
