You will work directly with clients experiencing major mental illness and/or severe emotional disorders, delivering quality care to those in need.

About the Organization

At Community Uplifters LLC, our mission is to uplift and foster healthier communities by offering patient-centered healthcare services to medically underserved populations. Committed to serving the local community, we strive to be a model for other health centers to emulate. We believe that access to mental health services should not be dictated by one's ability to pay, and we work tirelessly to break down barriers and support those in need.

Work Environment

This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a remote setting, allowing flexibility while contributing to a vital healthcare environment at our detox center. Our team-oriented approach emphasizes collaboration, and you will engage with a diverse population of clients and colleagues. We prioritize creating an inclusive atmosphere where every team member feels valued and supported.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions for clients coping with various mental health challenges, using evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to suit individual needs.
  • Establish strong, trust-based relationships with clients and their families to enhance client engagement and treatment adherence.
  • Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings to develop integrated care plans, ensuring comprehensive support across mental health and substance use services.
  • Conduct timely and thorough assessments, integrating screening tools to identify clients' mental health status and needs accurately.
  • Monitor and report on client progress, regularly adjusting treatment strategies to optimize recovery and support outcomes.
  • Provide crisis intervention as necessary, utilizing de-escalation techniques to ensure client safety and well-being.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation regarding client interactions and outcomes, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and state regulations.
  • Take part in ongoing professional development and training opportunities to enhance clinical skills and stay current with best practices in the field.
  • Assist in creating a supportive environment by addressing and reporting unsafe situations, maintaining safety standards in all interactions.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary role will involve assisting clients in overcoming significant mental health challenges, including those related to substance use and severe emotional disorders. You will work with individuals from diverse backgrounds, understanding that each client’s journey is unique, and bringing a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to their care. The goal is to empower clients to find hope, strength, and recovery in their lives.

Qualifications
  • A valid Washington State Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) license.
  • A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting is required.
  • Strong understanding of psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and intervention strategies.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate effective collaborations with team members and clients.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in providing services to diverse populations, particularly those facing socio-economic disadvantages.
  • Proven ability to function effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment while managing a caseload.
  • Experience with crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques.
  • Competence in developing individualized care plans and facilitating access to necessary resources and services.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is between USD 70,000 and 85,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for continuing education and professional development.
