Position Overview

Community Uplifters LLC is seeking a full-time Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) to join our dedicated team in Vancouver, Washington, with a remote work setting. As a critical member of our mental health team, you will provide compassionate and expert clinical support to clients experiencing major mental health challenges and severe emotional disorders. You will play a vital role in enhancing the health and well-being of underserved communities, ensuring that our clients receive the highest standard of mental health care.

About the Organization

At Community Uplifters LLC, we are committed to promoting healthier communities through patient-centered healthcare services. Serving areas that are often overlooked, we prioritize quality care regardless of one’s ability to pay. Our mission is to be a model for healthcare delivery that other centers can emulate. We believe in thinking globally while acting locally, striving for a healthcare system that is inclusive and equitable. Our team is passionate about making a difference with each community encounter, guiding our work with integrity and compassion.

Work Environment

This role predominantly offers a remote work setting, allowing flexibility while maintaining close collaboration with the clinical team. You will be part of a supportive virtual community that values open communication, teamwork, and respect for diverse perspectives. While you will conduct much of your work remotely, your home base will be associated with our Hospice Center, where we also provide direct, in-person support when necessary.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage directly with clients both in remote settings and in-person (when necessary) to deliver therapeutic interventions for those with complex mental health needs.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices to conduct initial screenings, assessments, and the development of integrated care plans that link clients to necessary services.
  • Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions tailored to clients' presenting issues, ensuring interventions align with client needs and preferences.
  • Provide crisis intervention and stabilization support when required, maintaining a calm focus during high-stress situations.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance client care, sharing insights and advocating for client needs to optimize treatment outcomes.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with treatment plans and service delivery, including timely progress documentation and data reporting.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives within the agency by participating in committees aimed at enhancing service delivery and client outcomes.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on underserved populations within the Vancouver area who are coping with significant mental health struggles. You will support clients who may encounter barriers to accessing mental health services, ensuring that they receive equitable and culturally responsive care. Your role will empower clients to navigate their unique challenges, fostering resilience and promoting recovery and wellness.

Qualifications
  • A valid Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) certification in Washington state.
  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in social work or a related field.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of assessment, diagnosis, and treatment modalities for mental health disorders, including risk assessment and management strategies.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interactions with clients, colleagues, and external partners.
  • Proven organizational skills to manage caseloads effectively, ensuring comprehensive care and follow-up.
Preferred Experience
  • At least 2 years of experience as a clinician in mental health settings is preferred.
  • Experience working with diverse populations and understanding the cultural and systemic issues that may impact mental health and treatment.
  • Familiarity with telehealth platforms and clinical software to enhance service delivery in a remote setting.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 85,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. Community Uplifters LLC offers a competitive benefits package that includes health and dental insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for continuing education to support your professional development and growth.

Career Growth Opportunities

Working with our committed agency provides pathways for career advancement. We encourage you to pursue further certifications, specializations, and leadership roles within our organization. Regular training sessions and workshops aim to enhance your clinical skills and professional expertise, allowing you to make a more significant impact in the communities we serve.

Why Join Our Team
