Community Medical Group is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and visionary Center Medical Director to join our leadership team.

As a Center Medical Director, you will play a vital role in overseeing clinical operations, leading physicians and care teams, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered healthcare. This leadership position combines clinical excellence with operational oversight, providing an opportunity to influence patient outcomes, support physician development, and drive organizational success through collaboration, innovation, and quality improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership, mentorship, and support to physicians and clinical staff
• Collaborate with Regional Medical Directors and executive leadership to develop and implement clinical strategies
• Promote Community Medical Group's mission, values, and standards of excellence throughout the organization
• Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, evidence-based medicine, and best practices
• Monitor clinical outcomes and drive continuous quality improvement initiatives
• Maintain compliance with AAAHC, AHCA, regulatory, and accreditation requirements
• Participate in the quality assurance review of medical documentation and clinical records
• Review utilization activities, billing processes, and superbills while identifying opportunities for improvement
• Provide direct patient care, including diagnosis, treatment, and care management as needed
• Promote clinical innovation and population health initiatives that improve patient outcomes
• Coordinate care across providers, specialists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Oversee reporting portals, action plans, and performance initiatives with clinical operations leadership
• Monitor and improve key performance metrics including ADPK, EDPK, patient engagement, patient growth, and utilization management measures
• Partner with administrative teams to optimize staffing, workflows, scheduling, and resource utilization
• Assist in the development and management of departmental budgets and cost-control initiatives
• Address clinical and operational challenges while implementing effective solutions
• Foster a culture of continuous learning, professional development, and physician engagement
• Stay current on healthcare regulations, emerging technologies, and advancements in clinical practice
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) required
Active and unrestricted Florida medical license required
Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a licensed physician required
• Previous physician leadership or medical director experience preferred
• Strong understanding of healthcare operations, quality improvement, and value-based care principles
• Experience working with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations, accreditation requirements, and compliance standards
• Excellent leadership, coaching, and team-development skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
• Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care and clinical excellence
Bilingual in English and Spanish or English and Creole preferred
