Community Inclusion Specialist (CIS)

Full-Time

$23.09/hr

RHD – IDD Services (Community-Based Programming)

Massachusetts (Community-Based)


About the Role

The Community Inclusion Specialist provides direct support to adults with developmental disabilities by facilitating meaningful community-based activities that promote inclusion, independence, and skill development.


Responsibilities

Escort and support participants in community outings; implement Individual Support Plans; facilitate activities; complete documentation; manage outing budgets; provide transportation and basic first aid.


Requirements

High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred; minimum of three years of experience working with adults with developmental disabilities; valid driver’s license; basic computer skills; ability to lift up to 50 lbs.


Additional Qualifications

Strong communication skills; cultural humility; ethical and professional judgment; collaboration and problem-solving skills; flexible schedule availability.
