• Conduct initial assessments and comprehensive evaluations to identify the needs of clients and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals, couples, families, and groups, focusing on enhancing their emotional well-being.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy, adapting your approach to suit the specific needs of each client.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, which may include psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure holistic treatment for our clients.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date clinical records to comply with ethical standards and legal requirements, while also utilizing our electronic medical record (EMR) system effectively.
• Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in the field of mental health, actively participating in workshops and professional development opportunities.

You will primarily work with a diverse clientele, including individuals from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, who present with a range of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and family dynamics. Your expertise will be crucial in building rapport with clients and providing tailored therapeutic interventions that address their specific challenges.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Current and unrestricted LPCC licensure in the state of California.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience providing mental health counseling services, preferably in a clinical setting.
• Demonstrated proficiency in ethical guidelines and legal regulations pertaining to counseling practice.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, which are essential for establishing rapport with diverse clients.
• Ability to work effectively within a team, demonstrating collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and relevant software.

• Specialization in trauma, substance abuse, family therapy, or couples counseling is highly desirable.
• A proactive approach to professional development, with a commitment to ongoing education and learning in mental health practices.

The position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000 annually, commensurate with your caseload and experience.
