Job description

With nine service centers, Combined Metals supports over 3,000 customers in the Aerospace, Defense, Nuclear, Medical, Petrochemical, Oil & Gas, Electrification, Automotive, and Consumer industries.   • Consistently string payoff; point weld, and grind material as applicable
  • Consistently set up die boxes, ensure proper alignment, ensure correct dies and lubricant are being used
  • Consistently set up by measuring wire diameter between each draw
  • Inspect material during processing to ensure proper quality is maintained
  • Complete all documentation and turn in work order to supervisor
  • Train new operators, if necessary
  • Ensure work are is neat and properly maintained
  • Properly use a micrometer
  • Operate a crane and a forklift
  • Cut samples for quality control
  • Assist production manager and other operators as necessary
