Job description

Job Description Learning Support Assistants (Merton) Are you passionate about making a difference in students' lives. We are seeking dedicated Learning Support Assistants to join a dynamic team and provide essential support to students, helping them achieve their full potential. If you're enthusiastic, patient, and ready to inspire, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities: Provide one-on-one or group support to students with diverse learning needs. Assist in the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs). Support classroom activities and manage student behaviour.

Collaborate with teachers and other educational professionals. Monitor and report on student progress and development. Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong organisational and time-management abilities. Ability to adapt to different learning styles and needs. Experience with special educational needs (SEN) preferred.

Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude. Qualifications: Relevant experience in a similar role. Educational qualifications in teaching or support assistance.
