What You'll Do:
Change Strategy & Planning Support
- Support the development and implementation of change management strategies aligned with business objectives
- Assist in conducting impact assessments and readiness evaluations to identify potential risks and barriers
- Help build change plans that address the people side of organizational transformation
Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure alignment and buy-in
- Support the facilitation of workshops, meetings, and engagement sessions to promote understanding and commitment
- Partner across teams and functions to ensure coordination on change activities
Messaging & Training
- Design and deliver clear, targeted messaging plans for impacted audiences
- Develop training materials in partnership with the Learning & Development function and coordinate learning sessions to support adoption
- Craft content that is accessible, engaging, and tailored to diverse audiences
Monitoring & Reporting
- Track progress of change initiatives and measure adoption rates
- Provide regular reports and recommendations to leadership on change effectiveness
- Identify gaps in adoption and recommend strategies to address them
Continuous Improvement
- Identify lessons learned and best practices for future change initiatives
- Support the development of a change management culture within the organization
- Help create and grow a Community of Practice to transform how Protolabs approaches change
Focus Areas
- Engagement - Draft, coordinate, and deliver clear messaging that supports change initiatives and keeps stakeholders informed
- Collaboration - Partner across teams and functions to build relationships and ensure alignment on change activities
- Support - Assist senior change practitioners in planning and executing change strategies, training plans, and stakeholder engagement efforts
- Resourcefulness - Proactively seek out information, identify gaps, and bring forward ideas to improve how we connect with and support people through change
- Learning & Growth - Develop foundational skills in change management, project coordination, and organizational development with mentorship and hands-on experience
What It Takes:
- Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Change Management, Business Administration, Psychology, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field - or comparable experience.
- 2+ years of professional experience in any industry or function. Candidates with diverse backgrounds and transferable skills who are interested in pursuing a career in Organizational Change are encouraged to apply.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, build trusted relationships, influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing environments.
- Strong written and verbal skills with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences.
- Proficiency in Microsoft tools including SharePoint, Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams), and Outlook; familiarity with AI technologies.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, navigate ambiguity, and adapt to changing business needs.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities and the ability to identify opportunities for improvement.
