Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Collier, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough patient evaluations to assess physical function and educational needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, tailoring your approach to meet the specific needs of individuals dealing with various injuries and disabilities. By focusing on personalized care, you will help patients overcome challenges related to their conditions and foster independence through effective rehabilitation strategies.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following qualifications:

  • A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as a Doctor of Physical Therapy in the state of Connecticut, as per the requirements set forth by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
  • A minimum of two years of professional experience in a clinical setting.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with basic computer proficiency.
  • A demonstrated ability to build rapport with patients and exceed their functional goals.
  • A commitment to fostering relationships within the community.
Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, additional experience in specialized areas of therapy will be highly regarded. Preferred skills may include proficiency in treating specific patient populations, advanced manual therapy techniques, or program development related to fitness and wellness.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package. Benefits include:
