Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and evaluate patients' physical conditions through detailed examinations, measuring their strength, range of motion, and functional capabilities.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans based on thorough evaluations and the physician’s recommendations, ensuring they are tailored to meet individual patient needs.
  • Administer therapeutic exercises and modalities effectively while monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatments as needed.
  • Educate patients about their conditions and treatment procedures, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of patient care in accordance with organizational policies and healthcare regulations, ensuring all records reflect the highest standard of care.
  • Engage in collaborative team meetings to discuss patient care, share insights, and enhance collective clinical knowledge.
  • Contribute to business objectives by meeting minimum utilization goals, actively participating in marketing initiatives, and promoting the services of Collier Physical Therapy.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Collier Physical Therapy, you will treat a diverse patient population that includes individuals with orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine conditions. You will be responsible for implementing care plans that aim to alleviate pain, restore function, and improve patients’ quality of life, making a significant impact in their rehabilitation journeys.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is preferred.
  • Current state licensure as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) is mandatory.
  • A minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting is required, demonstrating proficiency in various therapeutic techniques.
  • Current CPR certification to ensure patient safety during treatment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Proficient in computer skills, including familiarity with electronic medical records and documentation software.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working in an outpatient therapy setting, particularly with diverse patient populations.
  • Proven ability to establish strong relationships with patients and their families to foster trust and promote adherence to treatment plans.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.
Compensation and Benefits
