    Who are we?

    Code Ninjas is the nation's fastest-growing kids' coding franchise. In our center, kids ages 5-14 learn coding, logic, and problem solving all while having fun with game-building instruction. Kids have a blast and can't wait to come back to our center. Our core promise is, Kids have fun, and parents see results. We believe in these words so much that it's written on the walls in our center.
    What are we looking for?

    We are looking for a Code Sensei to join our team of dynamic, energetic, forward-thinking minds, working toward our common goal: providing a fun and safe learning environment for children. Our senseis are the lifeblood of our Code Ninjas center. This individual oversees the day-to-day student engagement and instruction under the supervision of the Center Director. Are you excited about technology? Are you experienced in working with children? Do you enjoy teaching and mentoring young minds? This could be the role for you!
    Experience:

    • STEM, Robotics (Preferred)
    • Child Instruction/Tutoring (Helpful)
    Responsibilities include:

    • Learn Code Ninjas STEM/Coding curriculum during training.
    • Engage and motivate students while helping to guide them through the curriculum.
    • Create a positive, safe, and fun environment in which students can thrive.
    • Collaborate with school staff and run the classes/camps smoothly.
    • Must be able to demonstrate the ability to work with kids 5+
    • Energetic, enthusiastic, and able to communicate effectively with kids.
    • Knowledgeable and passionate about technology.
    • Perform status updates and progress tracker maintenance tasks.
    • Work directly with Center Director
    Qualifications (preferred):

    • Working history with children ages 5 and up (babysitting, mentoring, coaching, tutoring, etc.)
    • Experience in coding.
    • Works well with others; collaborates.
    • Knowledgeable about coding and technology (preferred)
    • Having prior STEAM/STEM-based learning (Robotics, coding, technology, gaming, etc.) is a plus.
    • Must like working in fast-paced environments with enthusiasm.
    Compensation: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour
