Position Overview

Clinica Recovery LLC is actively seeking a dedicated and licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to become a valued member of our homecare team in Shrewsbury, New Jersey. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in assessing, planning, and delivering individualized physical therapy treatment to patients in the comfort of their own homes. Work Environment

This full-time role is primarily onsite, where you will travel to patients' homes within a designated territory. Your weekly schedule will typically consist of Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a structured work-life balance while providing essential care to patients. As you interact with patients, you will operate in a variety of home settings, which may enhance your adaptability and creativity in occupational tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough in-home assessments of patients’ physical conditions to develop and modify effective care plans tailored to their specific rehabilitation needs.
• Implement therapeutic interventions, including therapeutic exercises, gait training, and balance retraining to optimize patient recovery processes.
• Educate patients and their caregivers about the treatment plans, ensuring that they understand at-home exercises and recovery techniques.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient progress meticulously, maintaining accurate records in compliance with Medicare guidelines and agency standards.
• Travel within your assigned region to support patient care, organizing appointments efficiently to maximize your productivity.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your patients will include individuals recovering from surgeries, managing chronic conditions, or undergoing rehabilitation following injuries. Your role as a Physical Therapist is not only to facilitate their physical recovery but also to provide emotional support and encouragement, helping them navigate the challenges of regaining independence.

Qualifications

• Current and valid licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) in the state of New Jersey is required.
• A graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (Doctor of Physical Therapy - DPT or equivalent).
• At least 2 years of relevant physical therapy experience is mandatory, with a preference for candidates who have home health experience.
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are essential, as this role involves travel to patients' residences.
• Strong communication, time management, and interpersonal skills are vital for fostering effective relationships with patients and healthcare team members.
• Ability to work autonomously in a homecare environment, demonstrating adaptability and initiative.

Preferred Experience

• Candidate with a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist, particularly in home health settings, will be prioritized.
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) software is advantageous for efficient documentation.
• Additional certifications related to physical therapy specialties are a plus and will be taken into consideration during the selection process.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges from $110,000 to $125,000 per year, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package. Our offerings include:
