Work Environment

This role is entirely remote, providing you with the convenience of working from your home. Utilizing telehealth technology, you will engage with clients through secure video chat, allowing for a comfortable environment for both therapist and client. Key Responsibilities

• Counsel clients through teletherapy sessions using video conferencing platforms, ensuring privacy and security.
• Encourage open discussions about emotions and life experiences, guiding clients toward greater self-awareness and relationship insights.
• Implement treatment plans by evaluating clients’ mental health conditions and utilizing solution-focused approaches tailored to their needs.
• Serve as an advocate for clients, collaborating with them to establish and achieve realistic mental health goals.
• Attain a full caseload personalized to your practice style within 14 days of joining.
• Participate in regular team meetings to share experiences, discuss best practices, and refine therapeutic techniques.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
• Possession of an independent state-issued license as either a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Note that limited or provisional licenses are not accepted.
• Ability to make informed professional evaluations and deliver strategic treatment planning.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy and understanding in client interactions.
• Proficiency in using technology for appointment scheduling, teletherapy sessions, and electronic documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in a telehealth setting is highly desirable, contributing to a smoother transition into remote therapy services.
• A background in working with diverse populations enhances the therapeutic relationship and client engagement.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and therapeutic modalities that resonate with both individual and group therapy.
