Educational Audiologist Position

The Educational Audiologist provides audiology services to children birth to age 22 throughout Chester County. Assess classroom acoustics, hearing conservation and screening programs. Analyze hearing and auditory process deficits of students that may limit access to curriculum. Plans, conducts and monitors treatment programs, recommends assistive devices according to patients' nature of impairment. Interacts with parents, teachers, school nurses to work as part of an education team. Keeps abreast of local, state and federal regulations and policies for audiology services for children birth to age 22.

Qualifications

Education and Experience: Doctorate in Audiology required PA State Licensure in Audiology required Council on Academic Accreditation (CAA) of American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (CCC-A) required Professional or Other Required Clearances Valid Driver's License & reliable transportation required Current police, child abuse, and FBI fingerprint clearances within 1 year required Salary Range: Project, Level 16: $90,083 - $112,604/yr. *Placement on band is based on years of direct experience in a comparable role.* 260 day position, 7.5 hours per day, 5 days per week Location: Educational Service Center: 455 Boot Road, Downingtown, PA 19335 LB Equal Opportunity Employer Chester County Intermediate Unit is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
