Position Overview

Change Makers LLC is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic team remotely. Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough and comprehensive assessments of clients to identify their unique social, emotional, and psychological needs.
• Provide individual and group counseling using evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to meet the specific challenges faced by clients.
• Develop and implement personalized service plans that align with client goals and objectives, ensuring tracking of progress and making adjustments as needed.
• Advocate for clients’ rights, ensuring they have access to resources and support necessary for their well-being while addressing pertinent social justice issues.
• Participate actively in program development and evaluation, contributing insights for grant reporting while ensuring compliance with established protocols.
• Collaborate with community organizations, government agencies, and volunteers to enhance service delivery and address the multifaceted needs of clients.
• Engage in regular team meetings, training sessions, and community outreach activities to maintain a cohesive and informed team dynamic.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In your role as an LCSW, you will work with a diverse array of clients, including individuals and families facing mental health challenges, trauma, and socio-economic hardships. You will be instrumental in fostering resilience and promoting positive change by providing culturally competent solutions that empower clients to overcome obstacles and thrive within their communities.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Strong understanding of social justice practices, advocacy methods, and trauma-informed care.
• Excellent communication, empathy, and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a nonprofit environment or a similar social services setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with community resources and support systems available to underserved populations.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to program initiatives effectively.

Compensation and Benefits
