Load Builder

Central Valley has been voted among the Best Places to work in the North Bay by the North Bay Business Journal. We are currently seeking a Load Builder for our Woodland facility.

The Load Builder performs routine loading and unloading of materials within the yard and warehouse; assembles load packages onto trucks for delivery to customer job sites. Works safely at all times.

Requirements:

• 2-years' forklift experience
• Basic math skills
• Ability to use basic hand tools
• Manual dexterity
• Lumber and/or building materials experience desired

Job Duties:

• Reads and correctly pulls material listed on pick tickets.
• Loads and unloads materials for delivery.
• Operates and maintains forklift and other equipment safely.
• Identifies and locates the various types of materials carried in the yard and warehouse.
• Ensures that all materials are safely secured for delivery.
• Accuracy in pulling product and building loads.
• Counts and checks the quality and condition of all outgoing products.
• Keeps outside yard clean and secure.

Physical Requirements:

• Walking: 6-8+ hours per day
• Standing: 6-8+ hours per day
• Bending/Twisting: 3-6 hours per day
• Squatting/Stooping: 3-6 hours per day
• Climbing: Up to 3 hours per day
• Kneeling Crawling: 3-6 hours per day
• Pushing/Pulling: 3-6 hours per day
• Hand Dexterity: 6-8+ hours per day
• Lifting 0-25 lbs.: 3-6+ hours per day
• Lifting 26-60 lbs.: 3-6 hours per day
• Carrying 0-25 lbs.: 3-6 hours per day
• Carrying 26-60 lbs.: 3-6 hours per day
