Position Overview

Center Health Line Psychotherapy Services is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor. Work Environment

The position is primarily remote, providing flexibility while ensuring our counselors have access to the necessary tools and resources for effective therapy. Our outpatient office offers a collaborative approach, engaging multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for both clients and providers. You will be equipped with advanced electronic health record (EHR) systems to streamline your workflow and client documentation, enhancing your ability to focus on client care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health status and needs through individual sessions and telehealth consultations.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that are tailored to each client’s unique background, needs, and therapeutic goals.
• Provide ongoing therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based techniques to assist clients in overcoming challenges related to anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and other mental health disorders.
• Encourage client engagement by equipping them with therapeutic tools and coping strategies to promote personal growth and resilience.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists and primary care providers, to provide integrated and holistic care, when necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Center Health Line, you will work with a diverse array of clients, including individuals dealing with substance abuse, anxiety disorders, depression, eating disorders, and more. Our clients come from various cultural backgrounds, and a key aspect of this role is to provide culturally responsive care. Your expertise will contribute to fostering a safe and supportive environment where clients feel empowered to share their experiences and work towards recovery.

Qualifications

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A valid and active license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona.
• A minimum of four years of relevant experience in mental health counseling or a similar role.
• Strong foundational knowledge of various mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively deliver both individual and group therapy in an engaging and inclusive manner.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with diverse populations and a deep understanding of cultural competence in therapy.
• Previously demonstrated skills in crisis intervention, showcasing your ability to remain composed and supportive in high-pressure situations.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and an ability to utilize technology effectively in clinical practice.
