Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients to accurately determine their mental health status and specific needs.

  • Engage in regular sessions with clients, offering guidance, coping strategies, and therapeutic support to aid in their healing journey.
  • Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems to document interactions, monitor progress, and adapt treatment plans as necessary.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to provide coordinated care and appropriate referrals when needed.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The client population at Cardinal Behavioral Health Center is diverse, encompassing individuals dealing with a range of mental health issues, including anxiety disorders, depression, substance abuse, trauma-related disorders, and eating disorders. Qualifications
  • A master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • A current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC/MHSP, LPC, LCSW in the state of Tennessee.
  • A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience in mental health counseling.
  • A deep understanding of mental health disorders, treatment methodologies, and cultural competencies.
  • Proven ability to deliver both individual and group therapy in culturally responsive manners.
  • Strong crisis intervention skills and a calm demeanor when faced with stressful situations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport and trust with diverse clients.
  • Proficient in EHR systems and necessary computer applications.
  • A strong commitment to maintaining appropriate professional boundaries and ethical standards in all interactions.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working with integrated healthcare teams.
  • Familiarity with trauma-informed care principles.
  • Previous experience in managing client cases with complex needs.
Compensation and Benefits
