Job description

Territory: This role will cover the Western United States.

Responsibilities

  • Primary owner/POC of the Corporate relationship with the Independent Reference Lab customer and work collaboratively both with the Aero-med Account Management teams as well as Cardinal Laboratory representatives.

  • Utilize performance measurement tools to track and sustain continuous improvement for initiatives and routine business needs.

  • Review and address contract compliance by Cardinal Health and customer.

  • Facilitate communication between customer and Cardinal Health sales, operations, customer service and field service to maintain and grow relationship between customer and Cardinal Health.

  • Define and measure performance of potential/implemented solutions.

  • Share industry and customer knowledge with Cardinal Health internal customers/Business Units.

  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of Cardinal Health and customer industry (ex. Terminology, technology, reimbursement and govt. regulation, etc.)

  • Take lead role in delivering complex broad-based portfolios of solutions that meet Cardinal Health and customer goals

  • Develop and direct implementation of programs designed to address customer profitability, safety, and business continuity objectives.

  • Conduct customer discovery to identify customer needs and resulting opportunities.

  • Identify process improvement opportunities for both the customer and Cardinal Health to reduce the "total delivered cost"

  • Facilitate request for data between customer and Cardinal Health.

  • Design and facilitate implementation of Service Excellence programs to drive significant service performance improvements for customer including inventory/sourcing, supply chain quality, pricing management and customer service

  • Lead all customer acquisition implementations and manage the process with cross functional teams.

  • Collaboratively work with Cardinal Hospital Lab and Aero-med IRL teams bridging the gaps on channel shift activity while also working to retain all Cardinal brand via the transition.

  • Drive in-channel customer profitability via product conversions to Cardinal Brand products by successfully utilizing data and analytics tools to help drive savings for the customer and more profitability for Cardinal Health.

  • Responsible for driving new distribution sales within the Independent Reference Labs market

  • Responsible to drive new kitting revenue in assigned territory

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree preferred

  • Min 6 years relatedbusiness experience preferred

  • Proven product knowledge in business area highly desired

  • Kitting experience

  • Prior sales experience in healthcare preferred

  • Strong business acumen preferred, specifically in the lab space

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ability to travel at least 25% of the week

  • Valid driver's license

Anticipated pay range:$173,833 - $200,003 (includes targeted variable pay)
