The Fundamental Research Group (FRG) is a global team of Equity and Fixed Income Research Associates delivering high-quality, impactful research support to the Investment Group.
As a Manager, you will lead our New York team of Research Associates, partnering closely with investment professionals and global FRG peers to anticipate research needs and deliver exceptional outcomes. You will play a key role in setting team direction, driving operational excellence, and fostering a high-performance, inclusive environment. You will also support the development of associates while contributing to broader departmental priorities aligned with Capital Group's long-term strategy.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage end-to-end research delivery, including prioritizing workflow, ensuring quality and timeliness, and continuously improving processes to meet regional and global needs
  • Build strong partnerships with investment professionals and act as the primary point of contact for research requests, aligning team priorities with business objectives
  • Foster a high-performing, inclusive team environment, providing coaching, feedback, and development to support associate growth and engagement
  • Drive team effectiveness by proactively identifying capability needs, addressing bottlenecks, and partnering with HR and Talent Acquisition on recruiting and succession planning

New York Base Salary Range: $213,795-$342,072
In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
