Camelback Resort Job Description 

Job Title: Marketing Coordinator 

Department: Marketing 

Reports to: Director of Marketing 

The Marketing Coordinator is an in-person role responsible for supporting the planning, execution, and coordination of marketing initiatives that promote Camelback Resort, strengthen brand awareness, and enhance the guest experience through effective communication, content management, and promotional campaigns. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support the execution of integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social media, public relations, email, print, and promotional channels. 
  • Manage communication with internal departments and external partners, including marketing agencies, public relations firms, tourism organizations, and other stakeholders. 
  • Develop, edit, and maintain marketing content while ensuring consistency with Camelback Resort's brand voice and messaging. 
  • Maintain and update website content using the content management system (CMS) to ensure accurate and timely information. 
  • Coordinate media visits, influencer stays, and promotional events, including itinerary planning, logistics, and post-campaign performance tracking. 
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of social media content calendars and coordinate promotional messaging with agency partners. 
  • Monitor and respond to guest reviews on online travel platforms and support the resort's online reputation management efforts. 
  • Maintain third-party listings for resort amenities, restaurants, events, and attractions to ensure information is accurate and up to date. 
  • Manage the marketing calendar and channel planning to support campaign organization and cross-department communication. 
  • Assist with marketing budget administration by processing invoices, tracking expenses, and maintaining department records. 
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging marketing opportunities to recommend new ideas and best practices. 
  • Coordinate daily snow report and resort conditions updates during the winter season. 
  • Maintain marketing collateral throughout the resort, including inventory management, ordering printed materials, and coordinating installation internally and third party partners. 
  • Support special projects, promotions, events, and other marketing initiatives as assigned. 
  • Maintain a positive, professional attitude while delivering exceptional service to guests and internal partners. 
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures to help provide a safe environment for guests and team members. 

Qualifications & Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered. 
  • Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, social media marketing, and content development. 
  • Experience creating digital content, including basic photography, video content, and copywriting. 
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop and Premiere Pro, preferred. 
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and WordPress or other content management systems. 
  • Experience with email marketing, database management, and marketing analytics preferred. 
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. 
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain brand consistency across multiple marketing channels. 
  • Ski or snowboard experience preferred. 
  • Flexible work schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays. 
  • Strong listening, problem-solving, and communication skills (verbal and written). 
  • Must be able to speak and read English; additional languages are a plus. 
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time. 
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull light objects. 
  • Ability to tolerate exposure to busy or noisy work areas.
