Job Title: Public Health Program Director
Location: Nashville, TN Hybrid
Duration: 10 Months
Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM, 37.5 hrs/week

Hybrid role requiring the first day onsite in Nashville and at least monthly or as requested.

Job Description:
Seeking a Public Health Program Director to provide strategic leadership for rural health and maternal/infant health initiatives. The role will oversee program implementation, grant-funded contracts, community partnerships, and technology initiatives supporting care coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee public health programs across designated rural counties.

  • Manage contracts, budgets, deliverables, reporting, and compliance.

  • Serve as liaison with grantees, software vendors, internal teams, and community partners.

  • Monitor program performance and use data for planning and evaluation.

  • Support software platform procurement and implementation.

  • Develop sustainability plans and identify future funding opportunities.

  • Conduct meetings, site visits, and stakeholder engagements.

  • Provide technical assistance and support to program partners.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor s degree in Public Health or related field.

  • 5+ years of progressively responsible professional health program experience.

  • Experience with program/grant management, contract oversight, budgeting, and reporting.

  • Strong project management, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience working with public health data and multi-partner initiatives.

  • Knowledge of maternal, fetal, infant, or rural health is preferred.
