Job description

Project Engineer

  • Location: Greensboro, North Carolina
  • Salary: $90,000 - $100,000 Description We are looking for an experienced Professional Engineer to join our team in Greensboro, North Carolina. Applicants should have experience with site civil design and expertise in storm-water analysis and design, as well as proficiency with civil engineering software applications. Projects are primarily privately funded and focused on residential, commercial, and industrial site design. This position will provide support and leadership for our current team and will report directly to senior management. Requirements / Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering
  • PE License or ability to obtain PE within 12 months
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in Land Development
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and plan work efficiently
  • Demonstrated proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Proficient with earthwork analysis and storm-water management design
  • Microsoft Office software proficiency
  • Detail oriented, professional attitude, good communication skills, team player
  • Motivated self-starter with ability to work independently but also within a team environment
  • Goal-oriented within a team environment with attention to detail Experience Preferences
  • Local, State and Federal Permitting
  • Site construction supervision and management
  • Feasibility analysis, due-diligence, cost estimates, and budgeting
  • Land surveying knowledge and understanding
  • Grading and Erosion Control Plans
  • Stormwater management and design
  • Effective time management and assignment of duties
