Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to evaluate the intensity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that align with each client’s unique requirements, goals, and preferences, employing evidence-based methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care strategies to empower them in their recovery processes.
• Regularly monitor client progress, adapt treatment plans as necessary, and document all interactions in accordance with ethical and legal standards.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to provide integrated care and holistic support to clients.
• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in mood disorders to continuously refine treatment strategies and improved client outcomes.
• Engage in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and team cohesion.
• Advocate for clients' mental health needs, addressing stigma and ensuring they receive the best possible support throughout their healing journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily support individuals dealing with mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, and related conditions. Our diverse clientele includes adolescents, adults, and families from various backgrounds. As a therapist, you will play a crucial role in helping clients understand their experiences, navigate challenges, and pursue fulfilling lives.

Qualifications

• A current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build rapport and establish trusted relationships with clients.
• Demonstrated empathy, patience, and a nonjudgmental attitude toward clients' diverse experiences and challenges.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to effectively manage caseloads and administrative tasks.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in providing therapy for mood disorders or similar mental health issues.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote counseling practices.
• Previous involvement in case management and interprofessional collaboration in a mental health setting.
• Commitment to ongoing education in addiction counseling and mental health topics.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
