Job description

Brandt Industries is seeking a Corporate Parts Inventory Coordinator to join its team in Regina, SK.   This position is responsible for ensuring accurate inventory control and timely fulfillment of customer service parts across multiple facility locations. The role supports operational efficiency by maintaining inventory data, reconciling stock levels, and coordinating order flow from requisition to delivery. It plays a critical part in minimizing shortages, resolving discrepancies, and enabling smooth sales order execution. The coordinator works cross-functionally with purchasing, planning, warehouse and logistics teams to uphold service standards and inventory integrity.

Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Monitor inventory levels across departments using manual and digital systems to maintain accurate stock availability and prevent shortages.
  • Reconcile physical inventory counts with computerized records to ensure data integrity and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
  • Monitor and follow up on sales orders to ensure timely delivery of customer service parts, coordinating inventory availability to meet demand accurately and efficiently.
  • Coordinate shortage expediting and critical order processing to meet urgent operational and customer demands.
  • Enter and maintain inventory data across all facility locations to support accurate stock levels, enable timely replenishment, and ensure smooth order fulfillment.
  • Manage transfer plan and track unreceived lines to ensure timely delivery and receipt of goods across facilities.
  • Resolve out-of-stock issues by collaborating with purchasing and planning teams to restore inventory levels.
  • Investigate and correct mismatches between sales and purchase order quantities to uphold order accuracy and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain stock rotation protocols and oversee disposal of outdated inventory to reduce waste and ensure product quality.
  • Compile and analyze inventory reports detailing stock type, quantity, and value to support strategic planning and financial reporting.

Required Skills
Required Experience
  • Post-secondary diploma or certification in Business, Supply Chain, Industrial Systems Engineering or related field; 2+ years of experience in inventory control, customer service, or parts coordination preferred.
  • Strong analytical thinking, excellent organizational skills, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Proficient in MS Office; experience with inventory systems and supply chain processes considered an asset; prior parts handling experience is advantageous.
