Job Title: IT Project Manager / Business Analyst - Data Office
Location: Montreal, QC (Hybrid)
Duration: 7 Months Contract

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager / Business Analyst to support the Data Office organization and drive critical data management, governance, and quality initiatives. This role will work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, data owners, and senior leadership to ensure successful execution of data-focused projects and enterprise data management frameworks.
The ideal candidate will possess strong project management expertise, business analysis capabilities, and experience delivering cross-functional technology initiatives in complex enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead cross-functional technology and data initiatives from planning through implementation.
  • Define project scope, objectives, milestones, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
  • Facilitate sprint planning, stand-ups, project reviews, and stakeholder meetings.
  • Collaborate with business, technology, and data teams to translate requirements into actionable project plans.
  • Manage project schedules, dependencies, risks, issues, and mitigation plans.
  • Drive data governance, data management, and data quality initiatives across the organization.
  • Coordinate issue resolution and remediation activities across multiple teams.
  • Create project dashboards, status reports, executive presentations, and project documentation.
  • Support data integration projects, validation processes, and quality assurance activities.
  • Develop and maintain project artifacts including project plans, RAID logs, RACI matrices, and lessons learned documentation.
  • Deliver training, knowledge transfer sessions, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Provide regular project status updates to senior management and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Management, Business Administration, Data Science, or related field.
  • 5-7+ years of IT Project Management and/or Business Analysis experience.
  • Strong experience managing enterprise technology projects and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with Agile, Scrum, sprint planning, and project lifecycle management.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience preparing executive-level presentations and reports.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in Data Management, Data Governance, Data Quality, or Data Office environments.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or Scrum certification.
  • Experience with process improvement and enterprise data initiatives.
  • Financial Services or Banking industry experience.
