Job Description: Counter / Server Person FT
Job Summary:
The Counter/Server Person position plays a key role in providing an exceptional customer experience. You'll be the face of our family (or company)—as the first point of contact for our clients, this position requires a welcoming attitude, a warm and friendly smile, and the ability to work as a team efficiently in a dynamic environment. It is essential that all of our clients feel welcomed, respected, valued, and cared for.
You'll serve food in the right portions, explain the daily menu and specials, charge the customer correctly, and keep your area clean and stocked. A smile, good energy and speed are very important. We want every customer to feel respected and leave happy.
Responsibilities:
  • Wear a clean uniform and apron every shift—personal appearance is important and shows respect for our food, team, and customers.
  • Receive and serve customers in a cordial, professional manner and with a smile when approaching the counter.
  • Explain the dishes on the daily menu and the specials clearly and precisely.
  • Prepare the customer's food selections and pack orders carefully, ensuring precision in portions (2 level tablespoons of rice, 2 of protein, 2 sides).
  • Serve all food according to established serving standards; Any exceptions must be approved by management.
  • Process transactions accurately through the POS system.
  • Maintain the speed of service, especially in periods of peak demand, ensuring quality and consistency.
  • Keep counters, food areas, and workstations clean, organized, and well-stocked throughout the shift.
  • Record and enter all shrinkage items and scan them as appropriate.
  • Washing dishes or helping in the kitchen when requested.
  • Follow all food handling and safety regulations.
  • Communicate to the chef or culinary leader any items that are out of stock or out of stock immediately.
  • Treat all clients and teammates fairly, respectfully, and professionally.
  • Other tasks assigned by the manager or team leader.
