Job description

Manager, Marketing Technology & Enablement In This Role You Will: Standards, Patterns, and Templates: Own and maintain global naming standards, program structures, folder hierarchies, and asset organization patterns for all marketing channels. Develop a library of modular, reusable assets (journey blueprints, automation workflows, data filters, content blocks) and partner with design and development to build standardized email templates.

Create and enforce scalable processes and blueprints for efficient execution, including QA checklists, testing protocols, launch readiness checklists, and quality standards for campaign launches and automation workflows. Partner with stakeholders to evolve standards based on real‐world usage and feedback. Training & Enablement: Serve as the central owner for Marketing Operations training and enablement across all owned channels.

Create comprehensive enablement materials (migration training, how‐to guides, quick‐reference documentation, troubleshooting resources) and enable teams to self‐serve. Own the operating model for external agency support, including process design, handoff rules, and effectiveness improvements. New Channel Strategy, Onboarding & Consulting: Lead evaluation, business case development, and proof‐of‐concept for new marketing channels. Define reference architectures and implementation patterns, ensuring consistency and scalability.

Own the operational rollout strategy, including phased plans, success criteria, adoption metrics, and readiness. Provide internal consulting on automation strategy and operating model design. Platform Governance, Roadmap & Deliverability: Contribute to the Marketing Operations martech roadmap, channel capabilities, platform feature adoption, and tool evaluations. Manage vendor relationships and participate in RFPs. Establish and monitor baseline email and channel performance metrics.

Define governance frameworks for platform usage and suggest process improvements. Experience and Qualifications: 6+ years in marketing operations or marketing technology with a focus on enablement, training, or process design. 4+ years hands‐on with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) – Email Studio, Journey Builder, multi‐channel orchestration. Experience with Adobe Marketo a plus. Proven track record designing and delivering training programs and enablement materials for diverse audiences.

Experience evaluating and implementing new marketing channels (SMS, push, in‐app, social, etc.) and managing vendor selection and rollouts. Experience creating templates, standards, and governance frameworks that balance consistency with flexibility. Technical curiosity, ability to learn new marketing technologies quickly, and comfort working with technical teams. Familiarity with AMPscript and SSJS is a plus. Strong analytical skills with ability to read complex data sets, JSON structures, and technical documentation.

Highly organized, able to manage numerous high‐priority initiatives concurrently. You will be based in Seattle, WA or Austin, TX and will report to the Senior Manager, Marketing Operations.
