Job description

Job Title: Mechanical Superintendent
Company Overview:

  • The estimated pay range for this role is $126,000 - $168,000 based on experience.
**Note: The pay rate listed is the base pay with the overseas premium included
Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate closely with the Project Superintendent, Project Manager, and Quality Control Manager to develop and finalize operational plans, schedules, and job layouts.
  • Oversee daily operations of crafts and subcontractors, delegating tasks through foremen and subcontractor representatives.
  • Maintain effective communication with project staff to ensure compliance with project drawings, specifications, and timelines.
  • Participate in weekly progress meetings with subcontractors and assist in preparing plans for material handling and storage.
  • Conduct quantity surveys and estimates for plumbing and mechanical systems based on project plans and specifications.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to effectively motivate and coach diverse, multinational teams.
  • Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems, safety requirements, and effective cost and schedule management.
  • Excellent client relations abilities and strong communication skills.
  • Minimum of 15 years of construction management experience, with at least five years in design/build for mechanical systems; a four-year degree in building science, construction management, or engineering is preferred.
  • Prior OCONUS experience is highly preferred.
  • Minimum of a Secret security clearance required.
