Beyond Social Work Center is seeking a motivated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) for a full-time position remotely at our Detox Center located in Saint Petersburg, Florida. In this role, you will provide essential psychotherapy services to individuals struggling with substance abuse and co-occurring mental health disorders, contributing to their recovery and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide psychotherapy to individuals with a focus on their mental health needs throughout the substance abuse treatment process.
• Conduct thorough assessments and develop tailored treatment plans utilizing best practices and solution-focused interventions.
• Administer therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) that are specifically designed for patients in substance abuse recovery.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
• Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure comprehensive, coordinated care for each patient.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health disorders and resources available for substance abuse recovery.
• Stay current on research trends in the field and integrate findings into your therapeutic practices.
• Manage your caseload effectively, aiming to meet established treatment goals while adhering to the highest ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse range of patients, including adults from various backgrounds who are seeking recovery from substance abuse. Many clients may also present co-occurring mental health disorders, requiring you to apply your skills in both mental health and substance abuse therapy. Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid LCSW license in the state of Florida.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in substance abuse treatment or similar fields.
• Demonstrated knowledge of solution-focused interventions relevant to substance abuse recovery.
• Strong communication skills, along with critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse treatment team and maintain a patient-focused approach.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of one year of experience is required, candidates with additional training or certification in specialized therapeutic modalities, such as trauma-informed care or motivational interviewing, will be highly regarded. Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems is also preferred, as it enhances efficiency in documentation and patient care management.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year.
