Beyond Therapy Center is seeking a passionate and dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team in Manassas, Virginia. This full-time role is pivotal in helping patients regain mobility, alleviate pain, and improve their overall quality of life. As a Physical Therapist (PT), you will work closely with patients in our outpatient clinic setting, delivering tailored therapeutic interventions that focus on their specific needs and rehabilitation goals.

Work Environment

Our Manassas location features a welcoming outpatient office that fosters both patient engagement and professional collaboration. As our Physical Therapist, you will work within a supportive team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, athletic trainers, and rehab specialists, who are committed to delivering innovative treatment plans. The work schedule is structured for optimal work-life balance, with hours from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient conditions thoroughly and develop individualized treatment plans to meet rehabilitation goals.
• Deliver high-quality hands-on therapy, utilizing various techniques and methodologies to enhance motion, strength, and functionality.
• Manage a thoughtful caseload that allows you to dedicate ample time and attention to each patient's needs.
• Effectively document patient progress and treatment interventions using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, such as WebPT.
• Continuously assess and adjust treatment strategies based on patient progress and feedback to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Engage patients in their recovery process, providing education on injury prevention, exercise techniques, and healthy lifestyle choices.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive care, ensuring that all aspects of the patient’s health are addressed.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily serve a diverse outpatient population, including athletes rehabilitating from sports injuries, adults recovering from surgeries, and individuals managing chronic conditions impacting their mobility and quality of life. Your approach will emphasize non-surgical alternatives, ensuring patients understand their treatment options beyond medication and invasive procedures.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Possession of an active and unblemished Physical Therapist license in Virginia, with no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Strong foundation in orthopedic outpatient care, with demonstrable success in utilizing manual therapy techniques.
• Exceptional ability to design and implement individualized exercise programs tailored to various patient needs.
• Proficient in EMR software for accurate and efficient documentation.
• Committed to staying abreast of the latest research and developments in physical therapy practice.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient clinic setting is highly advantageous.
• Familiarity with sports medicine and injury rehabilitation techniques is preferred.
• Experience in a collaborative healthcare team environment can enhance performance in this role.

Compensation and Benefits
