Beyond Therapy Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist (PT) to join our vibrant team in Arlington, Virginia. In this pivotal role, you will guide patients on their path to recovery, enabling them to reclaim their movement and enhance their quality of life. You will work primarily in an outpatient setting, providing tailored therapy solutions that foster patient independence and functional mobility.

Work Environment

This full-time position offers an onsite work environment designed to cultivate collaboration and continuous learning. Our center operates from Monday to Friday, with two available shift options: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Our state-of-the-art facility is equipped with advanced rehabilitation technology and tools to best support patient recovery and progress.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized care tailored to each patient's unique goals and needs, ensuring effective treatment delivery.
• Manage a designated patient load, dedicating focused time and attention to each individual’s therapy regimen.
• Utilize expertise in orthopedic outpatient care to implement effective, evidence-based treatment plans.
• Incorporate cost-effective treatment modalities to enhance movement, functionality, and overall mobility.
• Promote non-surgical alternatives to mitigate reliance on pharmacological treatments, focusing on holistic care.
• Conduct thorough assessments and develop comprehensive care plans utilizing a variety of therapeutic techniques.
• Create customized fitness and wellness programs that align with each patient's specific rehabilitation needs.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their therapeutic journey, fostering a positive and supportive environment.
• Enhance patients' lifestyles by working on their strength, flexibility, coordination, and balance.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Continuously evaluate treatment effectiveness and monitor patient progress through regular assessments.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions and therapy provided, utilizing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our diverse patient population includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain conditions, and other mobility impairments. As a Physical Therapist, you will focus on restoring functionality and independence for each patient, emphasizing a personalized approach that respects their specific recovery objectives and timelines.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• An active and unblemished Physical Therapist license recognized by the state of Virginia.
• Demonstrated expertise in various manual therapy techniques.
• Proficient in formulating and executing effective exercise programs catered to diverse patient needs.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically WebPT, for maintaining precise records.
• Current knowledge of best practices and contemporary techniques in physical therapy, supported by ongoing research.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Experience working with a broad age range of patients, including children and seniors.
• Proficient in the development of innovative treatment modalities and rehabilitation techniques.

Compensation and Benefits
