Key Responsibilities

• Provide individualized patient care by assessing and developing personalized treatment plans to meet specific rehabilitation goals.
• Maintain a balanced patient load, ensuring sufficient focus and attention to each client during therapy sessions.
• Utilize advanced skills in orthopedic outpatient care, drawing on your prior experience to guide treatment decisions effectively.
• Implement cost-effective, evidence-based treatment interventions aimed at enhancing patient mobility and functional performance.
• Focus on non-surgical treatment options and educate patients on alternatives to minimize dependence on medications.
• Create comprehensive fitness and wellness plans tailored to individual abilities and recovery goals.
• Motivate patients, encouraging them to engage fully in their rehabilitation journey while tracking and evaluating their progress consistently.
• Maintain meticulous records of services rendered, utilizing EMR software, specifically WebPT, to document patient interactions and treatment plans accurately.
• Collaborate closely with fellow healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• An active Physical Therapist license in the state of Virginia with no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Exceptional knowledge of various manual therapy modalities and a proven ability to design and implement successful exercise programs.
• Proficient in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems for documentation, particularly WebPT.
• Up-to-date knowledge of contemporary physical therapy techniques and their evidence-based applications.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated experience in outpatient orthopedic settings, preferably with a focus on sports medicine.
• Strong background in developing individualized therapy programs based on patient assessments.

Compensation and Benefits

The competitive salary range for this position is between USD 90,000 and 110,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
