*RESPONSIBILITIES:

*

• *Set up injection molding machines, perform mold changeovers, and ensure proper installation and alignment of molds and materials.

*

• *Adjust and program machine process parameters, including temperature, pressure, cycle speed, and clamp force, to maintain optimal production performance.

*

• *Diagnose and resolve molding defects such as short shots, flash, sink marks, and cosmetic imperfections.

*

• *Perform routine preventive maintenance on molds and auxiliary equipment, including dryers, material loaders, and robotic systems.

*

• *Monitor ongoing production to ensure parts meet quality specifications and halt operations when quality issues arise.

*

• *Maintain accurate production records, SPC charts, and ensure compliance with GMP, FDA, and OSHA standards where applicable.

*

• *Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to support continuous process improvement initiatives.

*QUALIFICATIONS:

*

• Associate degree in Precision Machining Technology (or equivalent technical program) preferred

• Must have 3+ years of experience as Injection / plastic molding technician.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and use precision measuring instruments.

• Working knowledge of plastic resins, including drying, blending, handling, and contamination control.

• Basic computer literacy with strong communication skills and keen attention to detail.

• Familiarity with hot runner systems, robotics, and auxiliary molding equipment.
