REO Plastics, Inc. is a progressive, ISO certified Custom Injection Molding Company that has been in business for 60 years serving several markets in the Manufacturing Industry.

We are currently looking for a self-motivated, enthusiastic, hard-working individual to join our growing Company as a Material Handler. We offer competitive starting pay, health and dental benefits, life and disability insurance, paid vacation and personal time off, 10 paid holidays, and 401K plan with company match. We also pay out a profit-sharing bonus twice a year - when profits permit, of one or two weeks' pay, in June and December!

Position Summary:

The Material Handler will provide a constant flow of raw material to injection presses in the Production area and any auxiliary equipment to achieve maximum productivity.

Key Tasks:

  • Mix resin as directed.
  • Place grinder at each press.
  • Have material and auxiliary equipment properly tagged for use.
  • Pull and clean hoppers and grinders at job's completion.
  • Monitor dryers as needed.
  • Must be able to set-up and troubleshoot all material auxiliary equipment.
  • Must understand 5-S and Lean Manufacturing concept.
  • Keep work areas clean and safe.
  • Use 5-S suggestion form for set-up, process, or other improvements.
  • Must have knowledge of plastic product material handling.
  • Must be able to drive a forklift.
  • Attention to Detail
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Must have an aptitude for basic math.
  • Ability to read and understand English.
  • Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to take direction from Supervisors/Manager
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs
  • Must be able to sit, walk, or stand for eight hours.
