Beautiful Minds Therapy is looking for a dedicated and skilled Mental Health Therapist to enhance our team and provide invaluable support to patients battling substance use disorders. In this full-time remote role, you will play a vital part in helping individuals regain control and achieve lasting recovery. Work Environment

This position is designed to be remote, allowing greater flexibility for our therapists while also ensuring that we can serve a diverse client base across various regions. Your daily schedule will typically run from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts as needed to accommodate patients’ schedules. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify the specific needs, strengths, and goals of individuals seeking treatment for substance use disorders.
• Develop customized treatment plans that utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to best support recovery.
• Deliver high-quality individual counseling sessions focusing on motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and other relevant approaches.
• Facilitate engaging and supportive group therapy sessions that encourage peer connection and emotional support among individuals in recovery.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and addiction specialists, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
• Provide crisis intervention services to patients dealing with acute substance-related challenges or emergencies.
• Educate patients and their families about addiction, recovery strategies, available resources, and community support systems.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and accurate documentation in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines to ensure compliance and integrity.
• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development initiatives to stay abreast of advancements in addiction treatment.
• Engage in continuous self-evaluation and contribute to improving therapeutic practices based on the latest research and methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is individuals struggling with substance use disorders, ranging from early-stage recovery to those who have experienced multiple relapses. We work with a diverse clientele, including adults from various backgrounds, each with unique histories, challenges, and personal goals pertaining to healing and recovery. Your role will be essential in providing empathetic support and professional guidance to empower these clients on their recovery journeys.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California is essential.
• Strong understanding of substance use disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Proven experience in delivering both individual and group therapy within the context of addiction treatment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating a non-judgmental and empathetic approach.
• A commitment to upholding ethical standards, maintaining professional boundaries, and ensuring the confidentiality of patients.
• Comfortable using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant computer applications.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, multidisciplinary environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working directly with diverse populations facing substance use issues.
• Familiarity with community resources available for individuals in recovery.
• Advanced training and certifications in specific therapeutic approaches relevant to substance use treatment.

Compensation and Benefits

This role offers a competitive salary range of $115,000 to $130,000 annually, complemented by performance-based bonuses. Additionally, new hires may be eligible for a sign-on bonus. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
