IT Portfolio Coordinator
Position Summary
Are you an organized, detail-oriented professional who enjoys solving problems, coordinating projects, and working with senior leaders? BayMark Health Services is seeking an IT Portfolio Coordinator to support our Chief Information Officer (CIO) in managing strategic technology initiatives across the organization.
This role serves as a key connection between business and technology teams, helping track IT projects, communicate progress, identify risks, and ensure initiatives stay aligned with business goals. It's an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional looking to build experience in project management, business analysis, and executive leadership.
What You'll Do
  • Coordinate and track IT projects, milestones, risks, and deliverables.
  • Prepare executive dashboards, presentations, and portfolio reports.
  • Translate technical updates into clear, business-friendly communication.
  • Gather business requirements and document action items and decisions.
  • Partner with leaders, project teams, and vendors to keep initiatives moving forward.
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting, processes, and project governance.
  • Leverage Microsoft Office and AI productivity tools to improve efficiency.
What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Management, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 0-2 years of experience in project coordination, business analysis, communications, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.

Preferred
  • Exposure to project management or collaboration tools (Monday.com, Asana, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Jira, etc.).
  • Experience creating presentations, dashboards, or executive reports.
  • Interest in technology, digital transformation, and continuous improvement.
