Travel RN PCU Nurse in St. Louis, MO

This PCU travel nurse job in St. Louis, Missouri, with Advantis Medical is a 12-week Travel PCU Registered Nurse (RN) contract at Barnes - Jewish Hospital. This role pays $2,176 per week and follows a Nights shift with a 3x12 schedule.

In this PCU travel nursing job, you will provide progressive care in a hospital setting, assess and monitor patient conditions, support urgent interventions, document care accurately, and collaborate with physicians and the clinical care team during fast-moving patient situations.

Responsibilities
  • Manage higher-acuity patients stepping down from intensive care who require close monitoring
  • Monitor continuous telemetry and hemodynamic status, recognizing and escalating changes promptly
  • Administer medications and IV therapy, including titratable drips approved for the unit, per facility protocol
  • Care for patients on high-flow oxygen and non-invasive ventilation when assigned
Travel PCU Requirements:
  • 2+ years of recent PCU experience.
  • Must hold all required certifications and licenses as mandated by Missouri and national regulatory bodies.
