Work Environment

This remote position enables counselors to work from home while accessing the resources and expertise available at our outpatient office. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth counseling sessions with individuals, couples, families, and groups to assess needs and tailor interventions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with each client's unique goals and therapeutic needs.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities and techniques to empower clients in overcoming emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to provide holistic care and ensure comprehensive client support.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The client population at Baptist Behavioral Health Center is diverse, comprising individuals from various cultural, socioeconomic, and age backgrounds. Counselors will have the opportunity to work with clients facing a broad spectrum of issues, including anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, trauma, and life transitions. Qualifications

• A master's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a closely related field.
• Current and valid license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Connecticut.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective client interaction.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in outpatient settings, with at least 2 years of clinical practice preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
