Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Manager Assistant to support daily shipping and logistics operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for coordinating outbound shipments, preparing shipping documentation, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring orders are packaged and delivered accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and process outbound shipments and verify orders for accuracy.
• Coordinate pickups with freight carriers, including LTL, FTL, parcel, and international shipments.
• Generate shipping documents such as bills of lading, packing slips, and commercial invoices.
• Track shipments and communicate delivery updates to internal teams.
• Maintain organized shipping and staging areas while supporting inventory counts.
• Enter shipment data into ERP/WMS systems and maintain shipping records.
• Assist with RMAs, freight claims, and shipping compliance.
• Support warehouse, receiving, and production teams as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of shipping, warehouse, or logistics experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Experience with shipping documentation and freight carriers.
• Basic computer skills; ERP/WMS experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a warehouse environment.
• Forklift experience or certification is a plus.
