Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth clinical assessments to determine the individual needs of clients, creating tailored treatment plans that utilize evidence-based strategies.
• Implement a diverse range of therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques to effectively address client concerns.
• Maintain comprehensive, confidential clinical documentation in adherence to HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team, participating in regular case consultations and peer reviews to share insights and enhance care quality.
• Educate clients and their families on mental health disorders, available therapeutic options, and local community resources to empower them in their healing process.
• Keep abreast of the latest research and developments in the mental health field to ensure that best practices are incorporated into treatment offerings.
• Effectively manage a caseload and ensure timely follow-ups to promote optimal client outcomes while upholding professional ethics and standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The focus of this role centers around providing therapeutic support to a varied client demographic, including adults, adolescents, and families dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Qualifications

• A Master's degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT to practice mental health counseling within the state of New York.
• Proven proficiency in a range of solution-focused therapy techniques and interventions.
