Job Summary The Chief Fiscal and Administrative Officer serves as a key member of the Health and Human Services executive leadership team, providing strategic direction and oversight of the Department's fiscal and administrative operations. This position is responsible for leading complex budget development and financial management while overseeing administrative functions including contracts, grants, procurement, personnel, information technology, regulatory compliance, and facilities. The role works collaboratively with Department leadership to develop long-term strategies, ensure fiscal sustainability, maximize funding opportunities, and support the delivery of essential public health and social services to the residents of Mono County.

Additional Information Minimum Qualifications: Education and Experience Any combination of experience and training that would provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the required knowledge and abilities would be: Experience: Four years of increasingly responsible experience in fiscal and administrative managerial operations of a public agency including social services and public health programs.

Training: Equivalent to a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in finance, accounting, economics, public administration, or related field. Licenses and Certifications Possession of, or ability to obtain, a California driver's license.
