Job description
Hours: 6:45PM to 7AM 2/2/3 rotating schedule!
This position requires the individual to wear and work in personal protective equipment, and that the individual is able to lift a minimum of 50lbs. and can maneuver large, cumbersome product and equipment. Most roles require standing for a full shift with breaks.
The individual must have the ability to work in a manufacturing environment where temperatures can vary depending on the weather. A successful candidate must confirm their ability to perform work-related physical tasks by completing a physical abilities test.
Core Responsibilities:
• Ensures production lines and other equipment are maintained and able to run at all times
• Assists in developing and prioritizing work orders with Maintenance Manager, Production Supervision and Line Leads.
• Completes work order requests as defined by Maintenance Manager, Productions Management/Supervision, and/or Operators.
• Supports workplace organization programs (6S) and production efficiency programs (TPM).
• Assists, coaches, and trains operators in daily preventative maintenance (CIL) checks
• Supports and assists preventative maintenance process on the shift
• Contributes and assists in line commissioning after maintenance/process events
• Assists and participates with other plant projects as needed
• Operates in a manner that provides value to the team
• Performs additional duties as needed and/or assigned by supervision/management
Qualifications:
Qualifications – Maintenance Technician II
Experience & Technical Expertise:
5+ yearsof hands-on experience in industrial maintenance or a related field
Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing:
Electrical cabinets,relays,contactors, andsolid-state relays/cards
PLC and HMI systems(troubleshooting and minor programming adjustments)
3-phase 480V motors,24V DC control systems, andelectrical tracing
Skilled in mechanical systems including:
Conveyors,rollers,bearings, andgearboxes
Hydraulic and pneumatic systems, includingmaterial transfer systems
Experienced withproximity sensors,photo-eyes,light curtains, and basicrobotics
Strongfabrication skills: able to work in tight spaces and maintain high quality at a fast pace
Capable oftracking and lacing conveyor belts, clearing jams, and responding toline calls
Performs general maintenance tasks such asfilter changes,cleanouts, and resolvingmaterial transfer issues
Safety & Compliance:
Arc Flash trainedwith a strong understanding of electrical safety protocols
Highlysafety-orientedwith a commitment to maintaining a hazard-free work environment
Experienced in the proper use ofPersonal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces
Tools & Equipment:
Proficient with hand and power tools, multimeters, and diagnostic equipment
Certified or experienced in operatingforklifts,scissor lifts, andboom lifts
Soft Skills & Abilities:
Strongelectrical aptitudepreferred
Excellenttroubleshootingandroot cause analysisskills
Ability to read and interpretelectrical schematicsandmechanical drawings
Adaptable and quick-thinking; able toadjust on the flyand ask the right questions
Motivated topush personal and team growth
Strong communication skills; able to collaborate across departments

Certifications (Preferred but not required):
Electrical or Industrial Maintenance Certification
Structural welding certification
Forklift and aerial lift certification
Education Requirements:
- High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
- Advanced education and/or related-certification(s), a plus
- Certifications & Licenses:
- Will meet qualification and certification requirements established by TimberTech"s Training
- Resources and Knowledge (TRAK) program
- Completion of two year Maintenance Certification course
- Stick and wire welding experience required with structural welding certification, a plus
- Forklift experience required with the ability to complete TT Forklift Certification program
