Maintenance Technician

$28.00 - $30.00 per hour (DOE)

1st & 2nd Shift Available | Shift Differential Where Applicable

We’re recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join an established Consumer Goods Manufacturer in Phoenix, AZ.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing production business, maintaining high-speed automated equipment and supporting plant reliability through preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and continuous improvement.

What You'll Do

• Maintain mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults including motors and controls
• Replace bearings, motors and verify repairs on automated systems
• Maintain and troubleshoot mixers, ovens, high-speed automation and conveyor systems
• Perform preventative and reactive maintenance to reduce downtime
• Troubleshoot and resolve escalated equipment issues
• Carry out welding and fabrication work as required
• Support machinery installations, assembly and commissioning
• Read and interpret schematics, manuals and technical documentation
• Ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently at all times

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years’ experience in mechanical/electrical maintenance within a manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of both mechanical and electrical systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics and safety documentation
• Experience working in a fast-paced production environment
• Comfortable working in a physically demanding role with PPE requirements
• Experience with lifts or powered industrial equipment is an advantage
