Aurora Insight Psychological Services is looking to expand our dedicated team with a qualified Mental Health Counselor, specifically seeking individuals holding licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual, family, and group therapy sessions via virtual platforms, utilizing evidence-based practices to effectively address mental health concerns.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, focusing on their unique needs to promote holistic well-being and recovery.
• Provide timely crisis intervention and support to clients facing acute distress, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
• Maintain comprehensive and confidential client records in compliance with all state and federal regulations, adhering to ethical standards in mental health practice.
• Work alongside other interdisciplinary professionals within the organization to coordinate care and provide comprehensive support to clients.
• Stay updated on the latest trends, research findings, and best practices in mental health counseling to enrich therapeutic approaches and improve client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our counselors work with a diverse range of clients facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. We prioritize culturally competent care, understanding and respecting the diverse backgrounds of our clients to foster an inclusive therapeutic environment. As a part of our team, you will play a pivotal role in helping individuals and families find effective coping strategies and pathways to recovery.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure in the state of Oregon as an LPC, LCSW, or LMFT, or eligibility for licensure.
• Demonstrated experience in providing counseling services, ideally with a focus on both individual and group therapy.
• Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating the ability to establish rapport and trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• A commitment to cultural competence and the provision of affirming care for all individuals.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a collaborative mindset and the ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience

• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and telehealth platforms.
• Experience in community mental health settings.
• Ability to engage in ongoing professional development to enhance therapeutic skills and knowledge.

Compensation and Benefits

We are pleased to offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
