Atlantic Health Group is actively seeking dedicated and licensed clinicians for the role of Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in our remote psychotherapy practice. This full-time position offers a flexible schedule, allowing therapists to balance their professional responsibilities with personal commitments. With a competitive salary range of $75,000 to $125,000 per year, this role invites qualified professionals to expand their career while providing essential mental health services.

About the Organization

At Atlantic Health Group, we prioritize mental health support and access, delivering comprehensive therapy through a community health clinic model. Located in Fort Worth, Texas, we are committed to serving diverse populations, addressing a wide range of mental health challenges through innovative treatment approaches. Our mission is to ensure that high-quality mental health care is accessible, especially through telehealth options that enable support from the comfort and safety of home.

Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, which provides the flexibility needed for both full-time and part-time schedules. Our therapists select their caseloads, which can vary between 10 to 30 billable hours per week. Administrative tasks are managed by our dedicated support team, allowing therapists to concentrate fully on their clients. We foster a collaborative atmosphere via virtual platforms where staff members can engage in group consultations and professional development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess client needs and develop individualized treatment plans, leveraging the DSM for accurate diagnoses.
  • Utilize a range of therapeutic modalities, including crisis intervention, brief therapy, skills training, and family therapy, to facilitate effective mental health treatment.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including licensed psychologists and nurse practitioners, to ensure the highest standard of care is provided.
  • Manage client records accurately, incorporating telehealth platforms and electronic health records to streamline services and maintain compliance.
  • Participate in regular clinical team meetings to discuss case management strategies and review challenging cases for quality assurance.
  • Provide therapeutic support in various formats (individual, family, group) to address mental health and dual disorders effectively.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our therapists serve a diverse client base, including individuals facing mental health disorders, substance use issues, and family dynamics challenges. By focusing on both acute and chronic presenting issues, therapists are crucial in developing long-term strategies for client wellbeing and resilience. Our integrated healthcare model emphasizes collaboration with community resources and other care providers to enhance recovery outcomes.

Qualifications
  • A valid Texas LMFT or Psy.D license is required to practice within the state.
  • A master’s or doctoral degree in psychology, marriage and family therapy, or social work from an accredited university.
  • Minimum of two years of relevant experience providing psychotherapy services, particularly in a remote or telehealth environment.
  • Proficient use of electronic health records and telehealth platforms to deliver services efficiently.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience in a community health setting or outpatient clinic is advantageous.
  • Specialized training in evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
  • Experience working collaboratively in interdisciplinary teams that include various healthcare professionals.
Compensation and Benefits

In addition to competitive pay ranging from $75,000 to $125,000 annually, Atlantic Health Group offers a comprehensive suite of benefits that includes:

  • A sign-on bonus for eligible candidates, facilitating a smooth transition into our team.
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance options to ensure your health and wellbeing.
  • Malpractice coverage for peace of mind in your clinical practice.
  • Autonomy over your schedule and caseload, promoting a healthy work-life balance.
Career Growth Opportunities

We are committed to the professional development of our clinicians. Opportunities for mentorship, advanced training, and participation in specialized programs are available to enhance skills and clinical expertise. As we grow, new positions will open up, providing potential leadership opportunities within the organization.

Why Join Our Team
