  • Foster a warm and empathetic atmosphere during therapy sessions, using active listening and open communication to build trust with clients.
  • Facilitate referrals to other professionals or services as needed, ensuring clients receive comprehensive care tailored to their unique needs.
  • Document clinical notes and progress reports with accuracy and in compliance with state regulations and organizational standards.

At Astera Behavioral Health, you will work primarily with adults facing a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment disorders. Our commitment to cultural competence ensures that you will provide care that respects individual backgrounds, preferences, and values, making a substantial impact on each client's journey to recovery.

Qualifications
  • Holder of a Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Possess a valid LPC license required by the state for practice.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to relate to individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • Demonstrated ability to create a safe and inviting space for clients to express their thoughts and feelings freely.
  • Adept at customizing treatment approaches according to unique client profiles and needs.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in an outpatient setting is preferred, with a proven track record of successful client outcomes.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to manage client documentation effectively.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 75,000 to 90,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our organization also offers a supportive benefits package that includes comprehensive health insurance, paid time off, ongoing training opportunities, and assistance with billing and documentation to alleviate your administrative workload.
