Astera Behavioral Health is seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our dedicated mental health team. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health conditions, establishing a clear understanding of their past experiences and current challenges.
• Develop personalized treatment plans with specific objectives to guide clients towards effective coping strategies and emotional well-being.
• Apply contemporary counseling methodologies, remaining informed of new trends and research in the field to enhance client care.
• Foster a warm and empathetic atmosphere during therapy sessions, using active listening and open communication to build trust with clients.
• Facilitate referrals to other professionals or services as needed, ensuring clients receive comprehensive care tailored to their unique needs.
• Document clinical notes and progress reports with accuracy and in compliance with state regulations and organizational standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Astera Behavioral Health, you will work primarily with adults facing a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment disorders. Qualifications

• Holder of a Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
• Possess a valid LPC license required by the state for practice.

Preferred Experience

• Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 75,000 to 90,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
