Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify the unique mental health needs of each client.
• Developing and implementing tailored treatment plans that align with clients’ specific goals and outcome measures.
• Providing evidence-based therapy sessions, utilizing various counseling methodologies to ensure optimal care and effectiveness.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of mental health trends, interventions, and best practices to continually enhance client care.
• Building and nurturing a therapeutic alliance with clients, fostering a safe and trusting environment that encourages openness.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals when referrals or multidisciplinary interventions are necessary for holistic client support.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position primarily focuses on individuals experiencing mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following:

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field.

• Previous experience in a community health setting or with underserved populations.

Compensation and Benefits

Astera Behavioral Health offers a competitive salary range of USD 75,000 to 90,000 per year, commensurate with your experience and qualifications. In addition to salary, we provide a supportive benefits package, which includes:
