Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough diagnostic assessments to identify psychological disorders, including but not limited to Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), ADHD, anxiety, PTSD, and trauma-related issues.
• Develop and document comprehensive treatment plans in accordance with best practices, engaging clients in the goal-setting process to encourage ownership of their mental health journey.
• Maintain meticulous, accurate, and timely records of all clinical interactions, ensuring compliance with confidentiality and legal standards.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques in both virtual and in-person settings, adapting approaches based on clients’ specific needs and responses.
• Monitor and measure the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as required.
• Provide clients with resources and strategies designed to help them achieve their personal goals, leveraging community services and support networks.
• Stay abreast of ongoing advancements in mental health practices through professional development opportunities, contributing to a culture of learning within the organization.
• Foster a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental environment that encourages open dialogue, trust, and a strong therapeutic relationship with clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Wellness Assured, LLC, you will work with a diverse client base including children, adolescents, adults, and families. Our focus on holistic care means you will have the opportunity to address a wide array of mental health issues, working to understand the unique contexts and backgrounds of each client to tailor therapeutic interventions accordingly.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related discipline is required.
• Active state licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW).
• Proficiency in a variety of therapeutic modalities is essential, with a strong foundation in current evidence-based practices.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients from different backgrounds.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, demonstrating adaptability to change and resilience to manage interruptions.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with a range of mental health disorders, specifically in community health settings.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a telehealth format, utilizing digital tools for therapy.
• Knowledge of resources in the Richland community or willingness to connect clients with local services and supports.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this role ranges from $80,000 to $122,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
